What Happens When We Cry Out
I have always believed that the name of God is a sound and that sound is one that cries for help. Within the modern day Bible references to crying is mentioned 499 times. When crying happens, actions occur. Believe it or not, it is not that easy to “cry out.” The kind of emotion that moves the supernatural is one that typically occurs when there is no human solution readily available. When the capacity of our minds has reached its apex, then and only then, do we encounter the responsive action of the Divine. My interactions come from childhood. I imagine that those who’ve had similar calls to faith mirror each other in their experiences. If you are truly paying attention, you will also see that the things that were true of yesterday are also true of today. I am here as a writer to bring forth certain illuminations that were imparted to me through the mystical and through moments of intense cries for help in which I was heard. The most recent one and the source of many miracles, has been in the care of my own children. Two of the three having challenges, one overcoming those challenges, and the third I like to think of as my miracle.
During Advent, I like to think about the miracles in life. Life is actually a series of miracles and it has only been in times of isolation, loneliness and struggles relative to my own capacity of life that I’ve witnessed great miracles. This same spiritual oneness and enlightenment serve as the backdrop for the ideologies on which this House of Maryam project stands , and their practical applications transferred into the lived experiences of our shared world. The inner and outer workings of our environment are all that we have. My personal belief is the sacredness of the woman when accessing her divine capabilities has the power to heal, shift and refocus brokenness. When aptly coupled with her masculine counterpart it is a marriage of heart, intellect, peace and power that has the capability of reshaping hardened realities. The spirit of dissension, which comes in many forms including a righteous agenda, is the disruptor of unity. At all costs, we should bare the objective of the light which is love and belief.

Remembering The Spirit of Advent
This Christmas season, I plan to exercise a mindful anticipation of what I am truly celebrating. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines Advent as, “the coming of Christ at the Incarnation and the period beginning four Sundays before Christmas and observed by some Christians as a season of prayer and fasting. ” Incarnation is defined as “the embodiment of a deity or spirit in some earthly form.” In essence we don’t know what is to come but we can be goodness and charity. The desire for charity, faith, and hope is a trifecta for miracles to occur in your life–try to live here.
I have come to the finite position that since we all come from one singular source, which is the knowledge and truth “out of one many” and yes we are one, then it is man himself who has created division. It is man who continually divides and destroys and refuses to unify. Unity, which brings us back to the source is our one true mission. If out of love we were created, then it is also true as it is written, that God is love. We are therefore to be like the source of life from which we emanated and become the fruit of that spirit which is an abundant love. For those across the world that have little, I’d like to remind them that they have alot. God is closest to us in those moments. That is why so many of the wealthy, try to go backwards, and experience what they feel is a selflessness–but is actually a connection to the spirit of the people. What is often considered broken is the fix, and what is seen as barren is the fruit of all things.

Do not let your finances define you in this season, things are turning around.
Whether you know it or not, if you have come upon this site, the light of your life is ready to begin. You may have had some setbacks over these past years that are undeniable, but I want you to believe that doors in your life will not be shut because of them. Doors are being opened for you because you are not the same as you were last year or even last month–get ready! Take each day as it comes, and expect to be provided for in a way that will allow you to get back on your feet. When your heart is filled with love in this way, everything in your life becomes an opportunity and a blessing that emanates outwardly in that same fashion. Therefore, despise not humble beginnings, therein lies your greatest blessing. Think more about building a foundation that is simple, sturdy and strong for you and your family this time around.
See the truth for what it is, not for what they say it is.

We recoil at the idea of magic, when in fact, Christ was the total embodiment of magic itself. As the world was called into existence from a sonic utterance, or the Word, we understand that the breath of this action made manifest, resulted in life as we know it today.
It is a concept that we believe in intellectually, yet subconsciously disconnect from it’s meaning spiritually. Yet, if you believe in the transformational power of the Eucharist, you belief in a mystical act.
The most magical act of all, the one of consciousness and belief, of resurrection and healing, comes from the belief in things. We don’t need to witness, or reread all of the places Christ walked in order to shape our understanding, and apply them to our sufferings. We just need to believe in what we are seeing or reading, in order for things to change. This is available to all people.
Protecting Our Environment and Our World

For such a time as this, faith must be radical. It must be as magical as the highest magician and creator of all. If you hold fast to that belief you can see the possibility in all things, you can take the limitations of the creator, you can not only heal your relationships but your environment and the land. My heart is with the preservation of our external environments and the stewardship of our land and resources. I believe that with careful guardianship of how we manage what we have in every aspect of our lives we can reverse the damage to creation faster than we think. However, it is important to address the spirit of humanity in order to refocus our efforts. In doing so, we just may be able to experience the utopic paradises of old if we try.
